In this advanced course, participants will be able to have a detailed understanding of advanced smartphone photography. They will be introduced to lighting and some specific accessories to take aesthetically appealing photos. The program covers in-depth topics about smartphone cameras and their accessories, mounting equipment techniques, framing, composition and cinematography, and low-light photography. By the end of this course, hobbyists, and smartphone photographers will have acquired an extensive knowledge in both technical and creative aspects of advanced smartphone photography.

What you will learn

Participants will be able to:

Apply advanced camera positions for enhanced perspectives, and utilise advanced framing composition, and cinematography principles to capture visually appealing photos.
Choose between various external lenses and stabilisers for different types of subjects by understanding their usage and function.
Apply advanced inspection techniques for smartphone cameras and accessories, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Interpret shoot plans to effectively communicate lighting techniques and tripod setup for optimal photography conditions.
Demonstrate precise camera movements, employ techniques, and optimise exposure settings for low-light photography scenarios

Minimum Requirement

Education level is likely to be GCE ‘N’ Credit (at least C6) in English or WPLN score of Level 3 for Reading, Speaking, Listening, Writing and Numeracy, or
With at least a lower secondary education or its equivalent.
Must own a smartphone
